Once a reservation is confirmed we guarantee that rate. Room rates are subject to change depending on the season. Room rates do not include breakfast. Rates do not include applicable taxes or gratuity. Rocklyn Inn owners reserve the right to refuse service.
Payment Policy
A valid credit card and full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure and confirm your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
*** We understand that plans can change, however it is the customers responsibility to read our Website and Booking policies in full. When booking online, the customer is agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of our Booking Policies. If they have agreed to the reservation, they confirm that they have read and understood and agree to the following policies as written. ***
As a small, independently operated Bed & Breakfast, we have the following policy in place:
- All cancellations or any changes made to a reservation at anytime that require a refund to a credit card are subject to a non- refundable $40 processing fee per reservation.
- This fee helps cover non-refundable credit card processing costs that are charged to our small business when charging and refunding a credit card payment.
- Changes to reservation dates where a refund to the credit card is required, the non-refundable $40 processing fee is applied.
- Reservations cancelled less than 8 days prior to arrival dates are non-refundable.
- Holidays and Holiday Long Weekends are non- refundable.
- Gift Certificates for Rocklyn Inn Bed & Breakfast are non- refundable and non-transferrable.
- Rocklyn Inn reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.
Important Acknowledgement
By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge and agree to all booking and cancellation policies outlined on our website and through our booking system.
Why This Policy Exists
As a small business, we absorb real costs each time a payment is processed and refunded. This policy allows us to continue offering a high quality, personalized experience for all guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.
Reservations
- *** We do not allow children under the age of 18 years old. If you arrive with more people than disclosed in your reservation and/or with children under the age of 18 years old which is not permitted, you may be turned away and you will not be refunded. There will be no exceptions. ***
- *** If booking the King Suite you do not automatically have the Twin Bedroom Included. If you want to book the adjoining Twin Bedroom for extra people, there is an extra person fee that applies to each person per night. You must disclose you have 3 or 4 adults/ guests on the direct booking engine in order to book the King Suite + Twin Adjoining Bedroom for 3 or 4 people. ***
- A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during the booking process.
- A 2 night minimum is required only on long weekends and holidays. Holidays/Long weekends are not refundable.
- If your group is booking the whole Inn and you have children, please contact Rocklyn Inn directly to discuss your groups needs.***
- Reservations are secured by the direct booking option. Full payment is required to confirm your reservation.
- All reservations must agree to the terms and conditions and a hold of a $150 Damage Deposit at time of booking which will be charged to the guest credit card should negligence and damages occur to the room.
- Gift Certificates are Non-Refundable and Non-transferrable.
- Room rates are based on 2 person occupancy.
- Rocklyn Inn owners reserve the right to refuse service.
- We do not allow any children under the age of 18 years old.
Damage Deposit Policy
- All reservations will be charged the full payment amount at the time of booking + a hold for a $ 150.00 Damage Deposit.
- Damage Deposit will not be refundable if there are any damages to the linens, furniture and room or any missing items such as bathrobes, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, hangers etc.
- If the room is found in poor condition and there is excessive abuse to the linens and room you will not be refunded your damage deposit.
- If you hang towels, wash cloths, hand towels or any wet items on lamp shapes, art work or any other furniture or object in the room that is not the hooks provided for you, you will not be refunded your damage deposit.
Pet Policy
- We do not allow pets.
Smoking Policy
- We do not allow smoking of any kind (including cannabis or vaping) anywhere inside the Inn. If you wish to smoke, you must do it outside 20 meters away from the building and entrances and use a smoking litter box provided at request.
Dietary Restrictions Policy/ Breakfast Policy
- Breakfast is not included in the rates. If you wish to add breakfast you can add it on for an extra fee of $ 25.00 + HST per person per day under the extras section when booking. We accommodate dietary preferences and special dietary requirements such as Vegan, Dairy free or Gluten free at no extra charge ! * Breakfast is included in the Spa Packages & Winter Romance Package*
Parking Policy
- Parking is located in our parking lot to the east side of our property. There are approximately 8 car spaces. Our guests are responsible for care and safety of their vehicle while on our property. Guests are responsible for any damage to Rocklyn Inn property caused by negligent driving.
Check-In/Check-Out Policy
- Check- In is between 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Check- Out is before 11 a.m. All other times must be prearranged and approved with owner of Rocklyn Inn.
- *** If Check- In later than 8 p.m. is required there is a service fee of $20.00 + HST.
- Rocklyn Inn owners reserve the right to refuse service.
Shuttling Service for Hikers
- We currently offer shuttling to our hiker guests within Blue Mountain, Beaver Valley and Sydenham sections that surround Rocklyn Inn.
- We charge $0.78 cents per kilometer round trip for all shuttling services for hikers of the Bruce Trail
Rates
- Regular Rates Starting from: $ 140 + HST per night (double occupancy)
- Holiday Rates (Holidays/Long Weekends) Starting from: $155.00 + HST per night (double occupancy)
- We do not allow children under the age of 18 years unless the whole Inn is being booked by one group. Exceptions can be made and must be prearranged and approved with Rocklyn Inn prior to your stay.
- Regular Buffet Breakfast Add- On- starting from $ 50 + HST per couple per day. Must be booked the entirety of your stay to add on.
- Gift Certificates for Rocklyn Inn Bed & Breakfast are non- refundable and non-transferrable.
- $40 administration fee for all cancellations to process refund.
Wedding Day- Daily Rate
- If you are having your wedding group get ready at the Rocklyn Inn on the day of your wedding there is a daily rate of $200+ HST. This is for Rocklyn Inn to receive guests coming to get their hair and makeup done, any hair and makeup artists, any setup up of makeup and hair stations, preparation of dinnerware, cutlery, setup and serving of any food /beverages, assistance with preparation of your wedding day, accommodations for bridal parties including coffee/tea/beverages, running errands and other tasks required for the preparation of the wedding.
